Driven by her desire to make companies successful and people feel valued, Sue founded HPWP Group and created its core processes. She is expert in supporting leaders as they achieve their vision of success, and designing common-sense systems that make people and organizations more effective.
Sue started her professional career in Human Resources and quickly became disenchanted with the role. During her early assignments she found herself expected to “discipline” people, conduct “secret” investigations, micromanage employee attendance records, and deliver layoff notices while the company’s fleet of executive company cars continued to be serviced daily. She was motivated to find a better way – a way that balanced her value for people with her expectations for performance. Sue uses these experiences to help companies embrace and transition to a high performance work environment.
When she’s not trying to change the world one company at a time, Sue enjoys spending time with her husband Ken, their daughter Jenna, and a continually growing family of dogs. “Relentless forward motion” is the phrase that motivates her to live the principles of HPWP each day – and helps her train for marathons.

Before joining the family business, Jenna spent 10 years working in progressively responsible Human Resources roles for highly successful organizations such as Georgia Pacific, Dr Pepper Snapple Group and Grain Craft. During those engagements, Jenna grew passionate about the potential of HR leaders to positively impact the lives of employees at every level.
Her expertise is coaching in-house trainers and substantially reducing turnover through the power of peer hiring teams. In one of the companies where she worked, Jenna trained more than 50 employees in peer hiring teams and, through their efforts, reduced turnover from 79% to 28% in less than 9 months.
Having grown up with “high performance parents”, Jenna was raised as an HPWP-kid and it has shaped her perspective in a unique way. She believes that the best part of HPWP is that you never fully attain it and it never stops challenging you. She is driven to continue her parent’s legacy of positively impacting the lives of people.
Jenna is a graduate of The Ohio State University and a sports fan. Everyone enjoys Jenna’s direct and witty communication style.

Prior to working with HPWP, Melanie spent 20 years in Marketing Research, mostly in leadership roles. Having managed, coached & grown people in fast-paced, high-stress, multi-cultural environments Melanie learned first-hand the value of people-centered leadership.
When Melanie was first introduced to HPWP in 2014, she immediately knew that this was the philosophy, tools & workshops that would allow her to clearly communicate & transfer the wisdom that most leaders otherwise only get from years of experience, if they are lucky and surrounded by the right people.
Because Melanie is really & truly passionate about helping organizations create and maintain strong workplace cultures that promote employee wellbeing, innovation & high-performance, she left the Marketing Research industry in 2017 to focus all her energy on consulting, facilitation & coaching.
Melanie attended McGill University where she studied Human Resources Management with a focus on organizational behavior, training & development. She lives in Toronto, loves to travel to experience different cultures and uses photography to tell the tales of adventures.
